WHAT TO DO
A few weeks ago we went over to Baron’s market in Point Loma to drink beer & eat food. Specifically, we went to help taste test beer and food pairings. The beer from Garage Brewing up in Temecula & the food made by the team at Baron’s. It was pretty effing awesome.
All of that hard work led to next weeks Back Room Beer Tasting & BBQ bites event next Wednesday July 1st. Tickets are $10 & Baron’s is donating 100% of the proceeds to the San Diego Food Bank. Plus you’ll get the first taste of Garage Brewing’s new Double IPA. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth, and kick off the Holiday weekend right with good beer & good juju.
Baron’s has had back room tastings before but this is the first time they’ve ventured out of Point Loma. They’ll hosting the event at all 5 of their locations from 6-8PM in hopes of raising even more money for the SD Food Bank. As always if you see someone in a SoCal Session’s tee ask for a High Five. We’re High-Fiving people.
The collaborative menu features:
- Garage Brewing Belgian Trippel paired with Barons white chicken chili and Tacupeto chips
- Garage Brewing Hatch Chili IPA paired with pulled pork sliders
- Garage Brewing Double IPA (new release!) paired with roasted red pepper, blue cheese and tri-tip sandwiches
- Garage Brewing Marshmallow Stout paired with Barons chocolate-chip cookie ice cream sandwiches
